My wardrobe is finally complete now, I think, for any occasion and season. Looking ahead to Spring, thought I might put that claim to the test. So here is what I will be wearing this season, all looks are simply de-layered winter staples. You may notice that some pieces are repeated multiple times from look to look :)
My hero pieces for a dynamic wardrobe involve comfort blazers, chunky knits, slip & knit dresses, knee-highs. In the winter, uniqlo thermals + neutral coat with everything. Leave a comment or send me a message if you might like to see some writing on building a capsule wardrobe that actually serves you?

Let’s get into it
Look #1 Knit dress + Oversized blazer + Knee-highs
I’m a big fan of the comfort blazer. This one is Tyri by Studio Nicholson, I’d just go with any too-big one you have lying around / take your boyfriend’s.
Seen here with a boat-necked knit dress from COS c.2020.
Where I’d wear this: Brunch, Dinner, Walk in the park, Coffee run, literally anywhere but to my actual work I guess
Look #2 Knit dress + Chunky sweater
Where I’d wear this: On a date hehe <3
Look #3 Slip dress + Chunky knit + Kitten heels
Lilac dress is this pretty thing from reformation, which I bought after falling head over heels into the The all-consuming GirlWorld of Réalisation Par & Reformation last year.
Sweater vest is Max Mara from some years ago now, but these may be good options to recreate the look. Guiding principle here is that you want something that’s quite long i.e. covers the bum: Jigsaw £77 / Cefinn £150. A sweater vest like this would look good with flowing trousers too, and maybe even a mini-skirt??? Maybe.
Where I’d wear this: Nice dinner? Semi-formal party? Coffee run, 5 min hot girl walk?
Look #4 Spring Off-Duty: Sweater over blazer + Denim + Loafers + Baseball cap
Where I’d wear this: Honestly anywhere. Maybe to watch my son’s football game with coffee in hand
Look #5 Good trousers + Tank
This look works for me because it cuts an interesting silhouette: big balloony on the bottom and tight on top, and because the colours work well together: army green tank, beige trousers with tortoiseshell buttons.
Where I’d wear this: Honestly anywhere and prob with a cardi

Fin! Take some time for yourself this weekend x
The first dress is beautiful, and those kitten heels are so cute!
I love look 3 and 4 especially! Been loving lavender recently, and it’s definitely a spring color.
